Best Sister

I saw this on another blog that I love to read frequently. It made me really laugh! Intstantly I thought about how I wouldn't be surprised if my sisters sent it to me some day:

I could just picture them seeing it in the store, whipping it off the shelf as fast as possible and shoveling out whatever amount it cost, without having a question or thought in their minds as to who they immediately thought of. The funniest thing is, I couldn't do the same! Hahahaha!

Life's Sweetest Music

One of the most lovely sounds ever rung in my ears will always be the sound of my sweet baby girls singing through the house. And these are the words of her song:

"Mommy, Daddy, Daddy, Mommy...."

So precious I wish I could stop time.

What They say Wednesday

after trying a food he decided he didn't like, Michael asked what was in it. After telling him, he proclaimed, "that could kill somebody. Don't give it to Amy."

{Dripping with sarcasm}-'Awww, how endearing, don't you love how concerned they are for their little siblings?

Christy: Book Review

I just finished a book that has such a wonderful Anne of Green Gables quality about it that I wanted to share it. Most of you would recognize it by the miniseries they made inspired by the book years ago starring Kellie Martin:

Christy is based on the true story of Catherine Marshall's grandmother {as I've since learned from my Mother}. It is beautiful and inspiring. A touching love story as well and history of mountain life in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. If you're looking for a great book and/or a well cast movie version, I highly recommend Christy.

What they say Wednesday

"I want to buy on Tuesday because on Wednesday they have pizza and I found out their cheese is edible rubber."
Ewwwww! Things must not have changed much, huh?

What they Say Wednesday

In the car the other day Alyssa told a story:

"Once upon a time there was a mommy named 'us mommy' and an Amy. 'Us Amy' and a daddy, and they went to the temple."
