Two weeks from yesterday is the due date. My nights have been fitful, waking every 2 hours until it leads to once every 1/2 hour until I give up altogether. I suppose this is due to the contractions I'm starting to feel...you know, those early contractions that don't necessarily mean labor is anytime soon, but enough to recognize and be frustrated with until you finally say "i've had it!" and just want it to be overwith altogether? The good thing is the "nesting" that has kicked in. It's been in an organizational way, probably because keeping things clean is out of the question with six kids home and a husband in and out of town, who, by the way, gave up on going this coming week. I think we are all too anxious about something happening to make ourselves too busy.
uncomfortable and ready to pop!
The Relief Society threw me an "open house" last Tuesday...which was really a baby shower, seeing as how there really is no difference since it was exactly the same, only no games. They snuck it in as an open house since I told them I didn't want a shower because I didn't want anyone to worry about giving gifts. Everyone was so generous last time, that I can't feel comfortable thinking that because I am having the 3rd baby in this ward everyone needs to be buying me something...yet again! They did anyhow, I guess I would do the same. The gifts were wonderful and even the children were excited about them. It has been fun preparing a little for our new treasure to come into this world. We are awaiting her beautiful presence and looking forward to holding her sweet new body.
Loot from the "open house"
Ahhh, the joys of Motherhood. How rich, how fulfilling. How incredible and amazing! So, for now...we wait with much hope for the future and a force of patience. Here's to you, our soon to be new addition.
Love,
Mom

Keep us all posting on the delivery and how you are doing. I am excited for you. It also means that I am that much closer to my delivery.
I can't believe you only have 2 weeks. You deserve a party and look wonderful and glowing and happy. How sweet to think that you will have two little sisters who can be close in age. We will await the news with gladness.
Oh, how fun! I'm glad they did that for you! Look forward to pictures of your new little one. Love to you all!
